Excellent location of hotel - close to Bull Ring and Train Station
Top Tip
There is an Odeon cinema virtually opposite the hotel which helps if you're stuck for things to do in an evening. Only down side was lack of restaurants in the immediate vicinity - but as you're close to the bull ring it wasn't a big problem

Quaintly old-fashioned, but fantastic location, spotlessly clean and excellent staff. Great breakfast too!
Top Tip
Perfectly placed a stone's throw from Birmingham New Street Railway station and even closer to the main shopping centre.

Excellent location in the heart of the city. Could be cleaner. Request for a room on a higher floor for a quieter stay.

Apart from location, this hotel had little going for it. I'd booked a twin room, but was given double. When called reception was told hotel was fully booked so they couldn't move us; no apology whatsoever. Room was internal - i.e. no window: awful. Hotel was not geared for number of people at breakfast and we had to wait half an hour for a table. Breakfast was OK when we eventually got it, though. Our room was on 9th/top floor. Lifts had a mind of their own, so the trip to/from the room often took a long time.

Superb location - right in the city centre. Good, clean accommodation, good value for money. Brilliant for Christmas markets and general access to the whole of the centre of Birmingham.

No hot water and a very tired looking hotel. £82 for a room without hot water is not acceptable in this day and age. Also a massive overhaul of the lifts is long over due as one was faulty and the other extremely slow!!
Top Tip
Avoid this hotel.

Room was smaller than we were expecting. Furniture was quite shabby really. Middle of toilet roll holder missing.
Top Tip
Very convenient for everything, we enjoyed visits to 2 Wetherspoons.

this hotel is very central in Birmingham but it has old windows so if you need your sleep don't get a room in front of hotel
Top Tip
fantastic bars and restaurants
and shopping for people that enjoy shops
